Llanmoor Homes urges buyers not to lose confidence
Tim Grey, Sales Director of Welsh home builder Llanmoor Homes, has expressed concern over recent reports of overheating of the housing market, and at recent pressure to remove the government funded Help to Buy shared equity scheme.
Reports have suggested that the Help to Buy scheme could be cut back or completely withdrawn by the government due to fears that the scheme is in part causing the housing market to overheat, with an unsustainable rise in house prices which could have a negative impact on the slowly recovering economy.

Llanmoor help buyers take first steps onto the property ladder
Llanmoor Homes are encouraging househunters to purchase a new home through the Help to Buy Wales Shared Equity Scheme.
Since the launch of Help to Buy Wales on January 2nd, Llanmoor have made 25 home reservations under the scheme across their South Wales developments.
First time buyers Neil and Hannah recently moved into their new 3-bedroom ‘Litchard’ home at Llanmoor’s Pentre Felin development in Tondu thanks to Help to Buy Wales.
Having previously been saving for a deposit for an older property, Neil, 35 and Hannah, 30, were delighted when the introduction of Help to Buy Wales enabled them to widen ther choice to new build properties for their first home.
Neil said, “We were fully aware of the benefits of owning a new build property but before Help to Buy, a new build home of the size we wanted simply wasn’t in our price range.

Mr and Mrs Meredith buy their third Llanmoor home
Mr and Mrs Meredith have recently bought their third Llanmoor Homes property. The couple have previously bought two properties at Llanmoor’s Cefn Cadno development in Llanharan, but this time they chose the very popular 3-bedroom semi-detached ‘Bayswater’ home at Llanmoor’s Pentre Felin development in Tondu, Bridgend.

Llanmoor win big at Bridgend Building Awards
Family-run house builder Llanmoor Homes is celebrating after winning two Local Authority Building Control (LABC) Building Excellence Awards from Bridgend County Borough Council.
Llanmoor’s sold out Llys Derwen development in Bridgend was awarded ‘Best High Volume New Housing Development’ and Jeremy White, Site Manager at the company’s Pentre Felin development in Tondu won ‘Best Site Agent’.
The Building Excellence Awards reward high-quality construction and recognise design teams who have overcome technical issues by developing innovative and creative solutions. The LABC gave credit to Llanmoor for their consistent approach in ensuring a high standard of workmanship, together with a clean and safe site.

A record start to 2014 for Llanmoor Homes
Llanmoor Homes has recorded the best start of the year for sales for over 5 years.
The family run house builders have announced that reservations taken during the first two months of 2014 are double that of last year. This rounds off a successful year for the company who saw a 40% increase in completed sales during 2013/14, compared to the previous year.

Coety pupil names Llanmoor Homes” new development
A pupil from Coety Primary School has won a competition to name Llanmoor Homes’ new development in the village.
Eleanor Horne, 10, from Coity, chose the winning name, ‘Gerddi Pentref’, meaning ‘Village Gardens’, for the development, which is launching soon.

Llanmoor Homes announce new Gerddi Pentref development in Coity
Local house builders Llanmoor Homes are delighted to announce they will soon be opening a new development in Coity, Bridgend.
The site name, Gerddi Pentref, was chosen as a result of a recent competition held among pupils at Coety Primary school to suggest a name. The development will feature 93 two, three and four bedroom homes, with the first releases expected in February.
