Newly Weds Celebrate Their First Valentines at our Cae Sant Barrwg Development

Are you and your partner struggling to decide on your first home together? Buying your first home is one of life’s milestones, there’s a lot to consider but it can be an exciting experience. We caught up with Rose and James to find out more about their journey of getting onto the property ladder.

Situated at our popular development of Cae Sant Barrwg, a charming new development situated in Bedwas, the newlywed couple who are originally from the area are delighted to have settled in the Caerphilly borough.

Ideally located with convenient access to the M4 and A470, the development consists of 2, 3- and 4-bedroom homes. These beautiful homes offer the highest quality alongside the breath-taking views of the countryside in the Welsh valley.

Rose aged 27 and James aged 29, tied the knot at the end of January at a beautiful countryside retreat in Swansea. The happily married couple met through the brides’ brother who first introduced them.

The couple, who are originally from the area fell in love with their Newton home and say they were drawn to the Cae Sant Barrwg development mainly because of the location. Rose said: “Then we met Angie and Lily and they were so lovely and helpful. We originally wanted a Ferndale but ended up with a Newton! As first-time buyers we had a lot of questions and the girls were always on hand to help!”

The Newton is one of our most popular designs, featuring 4 bedrooms, a large lounge with French doors to rear garden and a choice of Welsh manufactured Sigma 3 kitchen.

Rose spoke of how a Llanmoor home was the only option for her and her new hubby, she explained: “We like that they were Welsh. We like the designs and quality of the show homes we saw. We liked that it was a traditional build/brick on block rather than timber frames.”

The couple fell in love with their spacious four bed Newton home, she added: “The lounge is one of my favourite rooms. It’s so big, light and spacious. We have a bay window that we love. It’s currently full of wedding cards. We had the tree in there at Christmas.”

“We have French doors that open up at the other end, to the garden so we can’t wait for summer again.”

Thrilled with their experience, James said: “10/10. We loved buying from Llanmoor and were so glad we did. The estate is so friendly! We have lovely neighbours and the show home is so close we still see Angie & Lily.”

The Sales Office at Cae Sant Barrwg are open from 11am to 5pm, Thursdays to Mondays inclusive and can be contacted on 0333 320 8168.
