Llanmoor Homes sets its sights on national building awards
Llanmoor Site Manager, Jeremy White was recently shortlisted for Best Site Supervisor of the Year at the 2014 National LABC Building Excellence Awards.
After winning the LABC Best Site Supervisor award for both Bridgend and South Wales, Jeremy continued his success and was awarded Best Site Supervisor in Wales at the LABC Cymru awards in October. Jeremy was then shortlisted for for the Best Site Supervisor Award at the LABC National Grand Finals which took place in London last month.
Jeremy competed against 11 other Site Managers from across the UK in the hope of being awarded LABC Best Site Supervisor of the Year. Llanmoor Homes represented South Wales at the national awards as they were the only South Wales based house builder to have made it through to the Grand Finals.
The LABC Building Excellence Awards celebrate high-quality construction and reward design teams who have overcome technical issues by developing innovative and creative solutions. New for this year, Best Site Supervisor is awarded to an employee who has stood out by going above and beyond the call of duty to ensure an outstanding working relationship with the local authority.
Jeremy has been recognized for his achievements in building new houses of exceptional quality at Llanmoor’s Pentre Felin development in Tondu, Bridgend. Pentre Felin features 165 two, three & four bedroom homes in some of Llanmoor’s most popular semi and detached designs.
Jeremy has been part of the Llanmoor team for nearly a decade having originally joined the company back in 2005. He was credited by the LABC for his exceptional communication with Bridgend Building Control and his unwavering commitment towards maintaining the high quality of his site.
Jeremy said: “I have been very surprised by all the recognition I have received this year. I was thrilled to win at the South Wales Building Awards, and to then be awarded best in Wales was a wonderful honour. I am very lucky to work with a fantastic team at Pentre Felin and I could not have got this far in the awards without them. I’m therefore very thankful to everyone on site for their hard work and dedication over the year.”
