Llanmoor Homes Introduces A New Standard Of New-Build Checks

Welsh housebuilder Llanmoor Homes has launched an additional quality control check in order to maintain the highest possible standards and instil absolute confidence in home buyers. Established in 1966, the independent firm has expanded its reach across the region over the last 55 years. Now, as one of the largest and longest established new home developers in South Wales, Llanmoor recognises the need to review procedures in order to ensure that this reputation is not only maintained but if possible, improved even further.

Whilst Llanmoor have an enviable reputation both with other home builders and maintains the highest possible rating with NHBC warranty provider, the company emphasises that the industry must do more.

Tim Grey, Sales Director of Llanmoor Homes, said: “Despite the challenges of the pandemic over the last year we have remained committed to our customer care. In order to maintain our position in the market and be distanced from what some potential buyers feel about new home developers, we must continue to see improvements to our homes, however minor these may be.”

“Every home is built under the careful control and continual inspection of our management team and the building control and NHBC warranty inspectors, from the commencement of foundations through to build completion and the issue of the final warranty certificates.

“The average home consists of over 10,000 items and therefore there will always be the possibility that some of these may not be to the standards we or our customers may hope for. By introducing an additional independent inspection check by our Contracts Manager, the property should be to the highest possible standard upon all buyers’ demonstration tours.

“We want to ensure that the build quality of our homes remains industry leading. It is of great importance to us that our customers have every confidence in both us and the homes that we build.”

In 2021, Llanmoor Homes has kickstarted the year with a raft of new site acquisitions throughout South Wales.

The company has several active developments across the region, including upcoming 51-home Rossers Field in Govilon, the 450-home Parc Tondu development in Bridgend along with 263-home Hawtin Meadows development in Pontllanfraith and the 240-home Cae Sant Barrwg development at Pandy Road, Bedwas.
