Llanmoor Homes annouces first development in Newport

Family run house builders Llanmoor Homes have announced the launch of their first ever development in the Newport area.

Bethesda Field will be located just off Cefn Road in the village of Rogerstone, Newport.  With the first ground work expected to start this month, the site will offer just twenty two 3 and 4 bedroom detached properties.

The Bethesda Field development is set to further establish Llanmoor’s reputation for providing high quality homes in South Wales by extending the house builder’s work to Newport for the first time.

Bethesda Field will see the unveiling of the new 3-bedroom ‘Pendoylan’ property, an updated version of Llanmoor’s popular ‘Penmark’ home. The new design features a spacious open plan kitchen and dining area, and a larger garage, providing more space for bicycles and better accommodating the needs of a modern family.

The development will feature five 3-bedroom homes in total. In addition to the ‘Pendoylan’, the site will also feature the popular ‘Ferndale’ design, which was launched last year at Llanmoor’s Padfield Court development in Tonyrefail.

The remaining seventeen 4-bedroom properties will include the ‘Llancarfan’, ‘Colwinston’, ‘Newton’ and ‘Llandow’ homes, as well as the ‘Llanmaes’ with its bespoke double glazed ash screen and door in the living room, a design feature currently offered by no other house builder.

As part of the development, Llanmoor will be bringing a number of beneficial incentives to the area, including 3/4 acre of open space within the development, onsite parking and a footpath link for the adjacent Bethesda allotments.

In support of the local community, the company will also be putting £205,000 towards improvement of both primary and secondary education facilities, in addition to a payment of £173,000 towards the improvement and maintenance of leisure facilities at the nearby Welfare grounds.
