A new home and a happily ever after; Adam and Ceris’ Llanmoor story
Buying your first home is an exciting time, but this couple decided one bit of excitement wasn’t enough! Adam and Ceris got married a week after reserving their first Llanmoor home. How’s that for being busy?
From location to house types, we spoke to the couple on all things new build.
Buying a new build was a safer option
After having two previous house purchases fall through, the couple felt uneasy about their journey and decided that buying a new build was a safer option when it came to their first home. Ceris told us: “We looked in detail at several developers and their reviews, and Llanmoor really stood out for us. After visiting three of their sites and seeing the showhomes, we knew we wanted to buy our first home with Llanmoor.”
Whether it’s your first or fifth home, buying a new build has significant advantages. Not only are they highly energy-efficient with lower running costs, but you can personalise everything to the way you’d dreamt it to be. Buyers at Llanmoor Homes can select their own kitchen units, worktops, and wall tiles, and request a number of optional extras.
From Love Island-inspired lounge areas to family-friendly green spaces, our buyers have shown just how creative you can get with your new build.
Easy access to the M4 was vital to Adam and Ceris
When you’re looking for a new home, location is everything, whether it’s close proximity to schools, shops, work, or family. For Adam and Ceris, easy access to the M4 corridor was vital, so they were impressed with our Parc Tondu development in Bridgend.
A former coal-mining village, Tondu, is located 3 miles north of Bridgend in South Wales and lies on the A4063 from Bridgend to Maesteg. With great railway links at Tondu Station to nearby cities Bridgend, Cardiff, and Swansea, Tondu makes the perfect home for those who enjoy exploring the city but want an escape to a small historical village at the end of the day.
Llanmoor has a property to suit the needs of your family
Our Parc Tondu development has 19 house types to choose from, ranging from two to four bedrooms in size, with the option of different sized gardens, driveways, and interior styles. Ceris told us: “When we originally looked at house types, we liked both the Nash and Ogmore. We ultimately chose the Ogmore as we felt the layout suited our needs more as a young couple.”
The Ogmore is a beautiful three-bedroom, semi-detached property boasting a spacious living area with French doors leading straight into the back garden. It’s perfect for first-time buyers and couples looking for space that they can grow into.
‘Lily, our Sales Advisor, was just incredible!’
The couple have been in constant communication with Sales Advisor, Lily, since they reserved their Ogmore home, adding that: “we got married the week after reserving our home and Lily made the whole reservation process stress-free.”
Ceris and Adam said: “Lily made sure she was able to answer all of our questions and queries, making us feel really relaxed during the scary but exciting process of buying our first home. We are looking forward to regular updates over the coming months while our dream house is being built.”
Being Llanmoor Homes’ newest development, when the couple were originally interested they spoke to Sales Advisors at our other sites in Blackwood and Aberbargoed. Ceris added: “They were all very helpful in answering our queries.”
We can’t wait to see their home when it’s finished!
