Rhondda Heritage Park

Jump around at a Trampoline Park

Bridgend Recreation Centre

Bridgend Recreation Centre has a lot to offer – from swimming pools with wave machines to indoor climbing walls and trampolines, the centre offers a range of facilities which will keep you and the kids occupied for hours.

Hop on the water bus to Penarth

Pop to Penarth for a day out and explore what the small town has to offer, including some amazing views off the pier. The water buses run regularly from Bute Park and Cardiff Bay, or if it’s a particularly sunny day you could walk the barrage (there are even go karts to whizz around on the way).

Ride rapids at Cardiff International White Water Centre

Whilst at the Bay why not try see if you can handle the waves? Cardiff’s International White Water Centre has lots of half-term activities for kids including family rafting, body boarding, and if you’re not a fan of the water… try out the air trail!
